At times it may be necessary to check on Daniel’s position on the course, such as if there has been no communication for a substantial period of time or if there appears to be an undue delay in arriving at a meeting spot. Whatever the reason, the methods below can be utilized to find him on the course.

Find Daniel’s current location by accessing his Garmin MapShare page (or by looking at the location information transmitted in a recent inReach message, if any).
A password is required to access Daniel’s MapShare, and will be provided to crew members prior to the race and to other interested persons upon request.
WARNING: Tracking interval is usually set to 2- or 5-minute intervals, but tracking may be delayed! Always check the timestamp of the last tracked point, and estimate current location based on the reported “moving speed.” (See example below.)

Find Daniel’s current location by accessing his Garmin LiveTrack page.
The link will be sent and/or posted when he starts the race or event.
Please make sure that you are on the distribution list prior to the date of the race or event. Alternatively, the link may be posted to his Facebook page.

Find Daniel’s current location by using the “Find My” feature on your iPhone.
Please make sure his location is shared with you prior to the race!
WARNING: Garmin LiveTrack requires a cellular data connection and may not be updated when Daniel is outside of the coverage area.
